I was had a quick query. Do you tag the posts yourself? I was just wondering because I noticed that a lot of the tags are very hetero-centric, and aren't inclusive for others who aren't in hetero relationships. I'm gay and reblog a lot of stuff for you guys but have never seen a tag for boy and boy, it's always girl and boy.
I usually tag it as both “boy” and “girl” and/or “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” because then if, for example, a boy is looking for boys, it will show up, and vice versa, if he is searching for girls, it will also show up. Same with girls. If a girl is searching for girls, it will show up, and if she is searching for boys, it will also show up. I do this so that it shows up for everyone, no matter their sexual orientation. I’m not making a statement that they are only for boyfriends AND girlfriends, but people who have either/or :)
I do this because, thus far, every post I have done has been applicable to both males and females, no matter their sexual orientation. If I receive a request that is very clearly for a specific sexual orientation, I will definitely tag it as so, but right now I tag it as both male and female because it works for both straight and gay. So yeah, hopefully that answers that for you and makes sense :)
